r2 only seems easier because it is made better. plus, the stepfiles made for r2 are much better. the majority of the heavies are quite hard to AAA. probably hard to AA for most people. i haven't tried any beginner/light/standard files, so i can't comment on those.

Jeeze you people are hard core! I only play flash flash as a quick time killer during school (a lot of time btw) I thought FFR was pretty darned hard, and dance dance was insanely hard. I shiver at the thought of a computerized version of dance dance (MY POOR FINGERS!!! =) The computers at this school really stink so i really couldnt get R2 working, but from what i could tell the arrows were really hard to hit. Is a marvelous better than a perfect btw?

It's really opposite for me. For some reason, I love the way the arrows work on FFR1, compared to all the other sims. It's easier for me. I always seem to mess up on all the other's because of the way it works.

I have no idea why R2 is a bit ewasier, but i agree with you. Party4UHolyNiteRemix (Difficulty 7) is about the same as 136.6 (Tho 136.6 is just a bit easier) so i agree with you.

The freezes take time getting used to and once you get used to them R2 is a lot easier

if you want it to be harder, increase the level to "hard".
At the song selection screen, when you have selected
the song you want, the "up" and "down" arrows allows
you to choose the level of difficulty. You can also
increase the speed by clicking the green "option" button

I said that, and I meant people like me who are good, but one step under. The "people" you are referring to are Nima, Reach, Arch, and the likes of them. Is everyone who plays R1 good as them? Hell no. Thats why I said that.
