I've been playing this game for over a year and i LOVE it and i LOVE R2 it's just that I play one hand 3 fingers. AKa it's nearly impossible for me to do anything standard or heavy. I can pull of standard but it's like impossible to do anything heavy. I guess I actually gotta take the time to learn 2 hands 2 fingers :( Oh well. GREAT game. Keep releasing songs!

Stay 1 handed until you can do 5 footers, then progress to indexes until you can do 11~12 footers, then 2 fingers 2 hands.

i can do up to 8 footers with 1 hand. I've been playing this way since...2 may's ago. I was like 600 and something in normal FFR so I definately have the skill to do songs like that. but the ridiculously fast ones i can move fast enough for. i mean name a few songs that are good to start on etc. I have SM too.

the way i got out of using one hand was by playing DDR on the playstation 2 over and over again.

i unlocked all the songs in max2 for US in a few sittings, and afterwards i could play SM/FFR with two hands. it works well.

i can do stuff one handed. such as A paranoia survivor max. working up to the AA.
