OMG FIRST BUG REPORT! ZONG!

Okay, I don't want everyone going "OH NOES HE R TEH H8R OF TEH SYNTH LOL" because I found a fault with the game. GREAT game. I really love the theme and steps.

BUGS:

1. Event Mode "Burn-In." After one song, start another and the "Event Mode" sign will stick,

2. Standard->Light. Some songs revert to light when scrolled over.

3. Keymap: After selecting button, nothing happens.

End. Awesome game, again.

I actually DO have a 2.2ghz P4 ... I'm getting only 19fps TOPS... and so all the timings are way off... and yes I'm using IE *shudder*

FF plays it horribly slow.. Not FF fault though. Like I said it is Macromedia's fault for not supporting that version of the plugin better. If you can get it running in IE then do so.

Im currently using IE, latest plugins and I get about 70fps as I mentioned before.

Bugs: I hit the right arrow 3 times to go to HEAVY mode and it doesnt go to HEAVY mode unless I hit it a few more times then hit left for some reason.. =\

Party4U won't load I've tried like 5 times already, freezes at the end of the load.


EDIT: The arrows are scrolling on high BPM they look blurry.

On extreme you have an 8th and a 16th like mini jack on the RIGHT arrow a few times and they are complete blurs can barely even see they are stuck together

I succesfully played party4u ... I got one spike for one second to 90fps then back to 15-19 the entire time, I have the newest version of flashplayer, I'm using IE, i have nothing else opened, and I have a 2.2 P4, and I know with other stuff I can get the much higher FPS rates.. so what shoudl I do? For me, playing with FF is like DDR 4th and lower- slow framerate, but playable.

My FPs jumps between 40-70 but it seems to be doing so so now, some songs SEEM offbeat than others and the blurryness of arrows on high BPM is still there.

Example: 650BPM or so on Extreme at the stream part is HARD to read.

well i seem to observe that I have 90 fps until the arrows start coming at which point it immediately jumps to below 20 and stays there the whole time... I'm, not good enoguh at predicting the delay to play it well at all

Wow..Mine's not working..period..

Here's what happens:
It loads, no b/g music. The b/g music then beings to play loading 1 second..then nothing..then the next second of it..then nothing..etc. I hit play, choose single, heavy. I get to the group selection. No graphic in the left corner part. I hit enter to select all music. I get this weird noise..and nothing. I hit enter about 7 more times. It finally goes to the next screen. BG music is STILL trying to load..one second at a time. I go through each song, with the difficulty randomly changing each time. Still no banner for any of the songs. I hit one, and..nothing..wait 10 minutes..still nothing. Nothing telling me it's loading..at all..

Anyways:
I'm using IE. I have the latest Flash Plug-Ins..I'm on a 2.0 Ghz procc. I'm only on a 56K connection. I've tried clearing my cache and reloading.

you in fact are wrong.. you don't have a bug, its just because tjhere aren't a ton of songs in the A-C so what its doing is wrapping and looping again, which is fine behavior.. what isn't working for me is trhe random button, but still none of this matters since I basically can't play a single song for anything due to the incredible amount that its off by.. Iu have to hit the arrow almost at the halfway point up for it to register at the correct time...

After playing every song in R2, I STILL have yet to come across a bug of ANY kind. Everything is silky smooth for me, nice 60+ FPS for me at all times, speed mods are great, I'm totally used to the Judge system on R2 and it only took me a few songs for me to get adjusted.

And I'm loving (hurr) the high scores listings right now. If you know what I mean >=D


Top notch job Synth and everyone who put Beta 1 into play. Top notch.



Oh, and SGX's stepfiles have the best steps, hands down. I love drilling at low BPMs on my keyboard, Composer especially. Totally hot. Definitely going to keep playing R2 for about another half hour or so.

Well i thought i was doing good, and then it decided to give me minus scores every time i play. When i close and reload R2 it does the same :(

Since trying it that max combo on the SS isn't correct, the real combo is 859 - no idea wtf happened there :O

EDIT - btw how are you MEANT to get to the speed mods? For some reason i seem unable to get to the screen unless i wait till i pass a song, right click on the results, play and then i get the option screen with mods... how am i meant to get it normally? :)

Extreme is offbeat because the song is playing slower than it should.

If ypou downloaded the song pack, listen to it, and compare it to the R2 version.
