It's that time of year! Time for elections!

This is how it will work. Someone (other than yourself) must nominate you, then someone else (again, not yourself or the person who nominated you) must second it. You can second a nomination more than once, but you can only nominate one person.

Nominations will go on until thursday. The canidates will then write a one paragraph speach, why they should be president.

Voting will take place next tuesday. By sunday night, you must have a running mate. Your running mate CAN be someone who is also up for election

You will not recieve any special powers if you win, but you get the pride of knowing the forum members would elect you for president. (Maybe something else ;)).

Forum mods and admins may not be nominated.

In an orchestra, many sections are divided into chairs. Each section has a first chair, and this player has to duty to lead all the others. In proper chamber music the leader does this by moving and swaying as well as bowing in a much more exaggerated fashion in order to keep other players from getting lost in the music and separating from the orchestra. Why? He's unable to speak during the performance. Even through this handicap, he is able to not only pull his own weight, but through the action of movement, the ability to take action and take other's mistakes into his own hands and brings them back to the correct place. Of course, he can't do this alone. The player must also do his part, he must want to fix his mistake and continue on. He must find where he should be and watch the section leader for when he catches up. This, Qreepy, is how I intend to lead.
