stepmania issue

So I opened up my client today and it started bugging out really bad. It was acting as if it had a mind of its own. I tried unplugging the keyboard to see if that was causing the issue but it's still doing it as if something is causing the arrows to double tap. Anybody have any idea to resolve this issue?

I've had a strange issue similar to that and I just ended up moving my songs folder, deleting, and re-downloading SM.
