chronotrigger was such an amazing game...Chronocross didn't really live up to expectations.

FF6 was probably one of the best in the series..overall story, the music, characters, all are just superb..I remembered crying at certain parts of 6, it was really well done. Though, I dunno.. All FFs are all right, even 8 once I got past the sheer ....blah to the plot and just accepted things. 9 was a lot of fun, and I never got into 10 very much.. 11 sounds promising, though....

I don't know how many people played it, but Legend of Dragoon blew my mind away it. It just has so much story and depth to the characters--it was really cool. The graphics weren't as good as square except on the cinematics, but the story--ugh, amazing!

The original parasite Eve was a pretty decent game to, but it is weird to read the book or watch the movie the game was based off of.. Totally different.. Not like that pile of crap that they called Resident Evil, pretending it was as good as the game..

and that was an isolated experience i don't do that all the time

when i play games i do it for 30 minutes (way minumum) to 2-3 hours. Sometimes.

And I just can't play a game for too long. I like rpgs to be about 20 hours, 15 hours, maybe.

And yes, diablo and starcraft both rock :)

If you were not a chapass (using "The End" with Selphie) the weapons were hard to beat in FF8. I didn't beat Omega, because I was too lazy and I had no Holy Wars. Ultima Weapon was hard, too.

And in FF7, Emerald Weapon and Ruby are nearly impossible. Even with KOTR (Knights of the Round Summon Materia). You try and beat them, Arch...they are all (the bosses above) really, really HARD.

Also, Ozma in FF9, which I have not played, but my brother said it was hard as fucking hell. The gqame sucked, though, he said.

GO XENOGEARS!!!! Two bosses in this game were hard. The Solaris Omnigear (Miang's gear, I forgot its name), and the final boss was hard too. Deus in alien form in the Eldridge could be tricky, but mostly because the systems you used always froze there....

Besides that, MMORPGS take skill, as well as real time RPGs. Real time ones can be hard at times.

But overall, RPGs are simple. Just level up.

You know who's a hard rpg boss?????????? Culix from Super Mario RPG. Even when you're the highest level (30) and have the best items and weapons he's still nearly impossible to beat.

There's a procedure to fight him, he's an optional boss. All I remember is you trade fireworks to a girl in Molevill. She gives you some kind of gem and that's a key to open a sealed door in Monstro Town. Very hard boss though.

emerald and ruby weapon were so easy to beat,all u need is final attack,2 mime materia,knights of the round and phoenix,then u kill emerald,get the earth harp,trade it to the kalm traveller for the master materia and use those to kill ruby weapon,but if u suck at the game you'd need the "underwater" materia so u don't run out of time
