Outside lives a girl who's smile is so inviting.
Inside lives a girl who is sad and often sighing.

Outside lives a girl with eyes that shine and glimmer.
Inside lives a girl that wishes she was slimmer.

Outside lives a girl that is confident and cheery.
Inside lives a girl that can be cold and somewhat dreary.

Outside lives a girl that is fun and energetic.
Inside lives a girl who thinks she's just pathetic.

Outside lives a girl who is fearless and tough.
Inside is the girl whose year has been rough.

Outside is the image of who I used to be.
Inside is the depression that is holding onto me.
