RIP rap. People that call themselves rappers: Kanye West and Soulja Boy. Seriously... souja boy? Do people even know what they listen to anymore? his hit song is about a guy ejaculating on someone's back and the thing that vexes me is that people still listen to it. What happened to lyricism? What ever happened to the creativity that went into the making of the songs? Today's rap is overshadowed by the singing and blinging that it lost the spirit of hip-hop. Most of the good rappers turn away from the mainstream and started doing their thing underground. Its a shame that artist such as Canibus, Papoose, Jedi Mind Tricks, Immortal Technique and other great rappers aren't as well represented as the garbage radio stations play on the radio.
