You push me to the wall and point a gun to my face.

The slits on my wrists and shoulders cannot heal the pain inside
As they just make the pain grow stronger.
"I just ask you one last question," lowering my head with a gesture,
"Can you kill someone who is already dead on the inside?"
I look back into his eyes as he barks back,
"I don't know, let’s find out," as he places the gun toward my heart.
I close my eyes and take one last breath and then…

BANG!!!

A mist of smoke and blood flows through the air,
A cartridge hits the floor as the body struggles to stay alive.
I open my eyes as I exhale my wasted breath,
“I feel cold…” as I hit the floor.
A slideshow of flashbacks run through my mind as I look up toward him.
The barrel is pointed at my face now.
Blood fills my lungs as I take a breath.
The scene goes in and out of darkness,
I was waiting for the tunnel of light,
I guess there is no light where I’m going.
