First file I got into FFR. It was a while back that I stepped this. Was also the first songstowearpantsto songs to get in as well, and i've stepped alot of his music now. This was a very straightforward song IMO, and really there's nothing wrong with the file. People say that the patterns are "awkward", but honestly, it's not a hard file. If the patterns were perfect, people would have blazed through with easy sightread AAAs and never played the song again. The patterns aren't unhittable or anything, just a bit weird. It still has its own little "flow" to it. Hopefully you noticed the pun on the song title too lol
=====It's Too Loud=====
Haha this song. Second stwpt song, and it was more of a "lol song choice" file. The chart is very simple, although the song tempo fluctuated like hell all over, so sorry about slightly off-synch parts, including the end. Hopefully you were entertained by the lyric stepping in the middle. In my opinion, simple and solid file. One note, the white notes at the beginning are to a weird drum noise that i couldn't quite pick out what it was that sounded like a rattle type thing, so it was garnished with white.
=====Politically Correct Holiday Song=====
Haha x2, stwpt x3. Same as above, except without synching issues. I'm glad some people got a laugh at the lyrics. Was a fun song to listen to, and I didn't want to make it really hard or anything. Once again, solid file, nothing really bad I don't think. Happy birthday.
Hahahahahahah I know /soooo/ many people hate me for this file. And let me say this: It's not a good tournament file. I did not choose to have it released during the tournament. It's not my fault. Anyways, complaints all over the place, "such a bad file. the walls killed the flow. wtf walls. fuck you yoshi go die in a hole" etc. etc. I'm going to ask you this. Would you rather play a 3 minute file with the /same/ /friggin/ /patterns/ /over/ and /over/ again? i mean, if you ignore the flourishes, the rest of the song is...pretty much the same thing over and over again. You'd be doing one thing for 3 minutes. That's not, I repeat, that's /NOT/ what I think a good file is. A good file to me has variety that can keep people coming back and playing it because they either laughed their ass off from patterns or song choice, or found a unique challenge in the file. In any case, if you think I can't step because of this file, /you/ try stepping this better. Look, I even made all the patterns jumptrillable as much as I could.
Easy file, surprised at some hate towards the grace notes. Was geared towards introducing new players to grace notes and such but at a really slow pace. 'Nuff said about this. Oh, furry SWAG Renard ftw
=====super mario bros theme (original NES is awesome)=====
Think "Adventures of Lolo", except moreso. Like actually, when you're playing this, think "Lolo" and see what you think. :P
songs to wear pants to SWAG
Why the hate guys. Why the hate. Why the "patterns awkward" That 24th roll was /meant/ to be cheated with a right hand trill, left hand gallop. The jacks are the best part of the song. The initial quintuplet note section was supposed to be unique. This file. It's not like your ordinary file. It's more than that. It's different. It's difficult. It's complex. It's memorable. It's a YoshL file. <3
I admit it, this one's pretty conservatively stepped. Long, a tad bit repetitive, but at least it's broken up a bit by stepping vocals, so it'll at the very least, keep you on your toes. STWPT strikes again~
Easy song. Not much to say. Easy Renard songs furry SWAG x2 combo
Renard song, by his Mayhem alias. I really like this song. It's incredibly quirky in nature, and will keep you second guessing what's about to come up next. You're gonna hate the end, but it's gonna make the file all the more memorable ;)
-----Files to be Released-----
A bit similar to Internet Heroes, in that it's fairly simply stepped. This was actually one of the first songs I stepped, but I didn't really get it into FFR until now. That being said, this somehow netted me 2 SAP lol. Also, once this gets in, I'm gonna be an FFR Music Producer! :D File shouldn't be hard at all, enjoy it <3
Sonitus Vir (Renard). Pretty much exactly what I said for Oops, you can say about this song. Although, the percussion is much more unique, more similar to the likes of Coffin. When I say exactly what I said for Oops, this includes the end. You're gonna hate it.
short, sweet, and to the point. It feels like a slower "Famouz". All the reviews that I received were about how they were sad it ended so early. I'm sorry the song isn't any longer ;A; Blame songstowearpantsto for that.
