Minor Update To Ska Cha ChaPosted on: May 13, 2008, at 12:10:37pm [ 36 comments] If you've already played Ska Cha Cha, you'll need to replay it. I made a mistake in uploading the file, and have now fixed that mistake. The file has been changed from 1037 notes to 1054 notes.
Clear your cache and play it again! Sorry about the confusion... but this is why songs go through a 3 week beta phase before public release.
Also, I changed the difficulty from 8 to 9. Agree/Disagree? And... should Black Wing be an 8 or 9?
-Tass In Need Of Event IdeasPosted on: May 7, 2008, at 02:33:23pm [ 87 comments] So, I want to have a queue-clearing event sometime within the next 6-8 weeks. Figure for it to last up to 4 weeks and to have up to 60-70 songs used.
I just need ideas for the excuse to do this event. I have a few of my own, but I'd like some input. And no, I will NOT be doing a completely token or skill token event. Plan for most of these to be public songs, but some can/will be token/skill.
Also, I've just confirmed with Sprite... expect the next official tournament to begin in early June. This is your first official announcement of the 4th official tournament. :)

-Tass Update To Unofficial TournamentsPosted on: April 28, 2008, at 12:54:46pm [ 45 comments] Sprite and I have spent some time discussing ways to prevent tournaments from being made that start and go nowhere, often getting large donations from other users as well.
tl;dr version of the changes:
-To run a tournament:
---100+ posts
---2+ months as a member
---5000+ credits as a minimum prize
-If prizes > credits (cash, schwag, etc), prizes must be put into escrow before the start of the tournament
-If A donated to B's tournament, and B does not complete the tournament, A can get his credits back
-New Tournaments will now need mod approval to start (Sprite)
There are a few other minor things, so check out the sticky in the Tournaments subforum. All of this is to make sure t hat the only tournaments being run are successful ones that will actually finish.
