The reason I needed surgery in the first place is a semi-long story. Before I get started, I would like to say that before this accident, I used to played spread. I am a bit better now than I was back then, but not by much.


Nearly two and a half years ago, I was driving home at about 11:30 at night from a party. No, I had not been drinking, nor will I ever want to. I was passing through an intersection when a drunk driver pulled around a corner around 55-60 and crashed dead-on into the driver side of the car. The door caved, crushing my hand in between the wheel and the door, leaving my wrist shattered, with 3 broken fingers. I later found out that the three fingers (left pinky, ring and index) had intensive nerve damage and could not be fixed. After having my arm in a sling for 3 months and a cast for almost 5, I had a choice. The damage done could in no way mend, so I either needed an artificial wrist or an amputation of the arm from the elbow down. I took the obvious one. From then to June 17th, my left hand was almost completely useless.




HOPEFULLY this will answer people's questions about my recent Thought about the surgery, but if not... Leave any questions in the comments and I will (try) answer them.

Alright. Well everyone knows I've been gone for a while, everyone also has different reasons except for a couple people. June 17th I was put under an operating of "nerve reconnection" in my left hand. The procedure is done by first, obviously numbing the nerves remaining in my hand, then attempting to connect them to tendons and muscle tissues using small electrical surges to make neurotransmitters react. The damage done in my pinky finger is far too severe to be fixed, and I'm lucky to even have it. However, the nerves in my index and ring finger were successfully reconnected and I have full control of them after 3 weeks of recovery. July 15th, I started attempting spread under secrecy on Stepmania. Yes, I'm fucking terrible at it and will not play it on FFR until: 1. I fix this random miss / good thing, and 2. I can actually do it good. I'm not sure how long it will take to actually get good, most likely a long while, and I'm not stopping one-handed either.

I'm extremely excited about this, and definitly looking forward to trying my old playstyle again.

Still pissed off by this one guy/girl on FFR, he/she is still my inspiration.

Life. It's problem is everything. 'Tis unavoidable only when you need to escape. Just when you think your life is bad, your prospects get worse. You become consumed into yourself to try and hide, but you need to remember that there is always at least one person that will be there for you. This person, whether be a parent, friend, more-than-friend or a God, you can always trust. You must never grieve, even in the worst of times. Grieving will bring the worse later on, so make the best of what you are experiencing, for that way, the outcome brought upon you may be happy, or much less in seriousness. Next, there is the person you look up to. Sometimes not realizing the reality of it's obstitions, a person must have an idol. An idol is another person who you want to be like. Idols shine to your liking, because you admired the time they were allowed to shine. There is a time and place for all of us to shine. Some of us may not have their time for a while, but it will happen. Others don't know if they've had their time, and worry about if they will. Well, this is the time that you have learned you will shine. Always keep your head up high, because the past is so far away, but the future is so near. What was said and done is gone, and what was said and done is now. The words and actions taken before, affected and created this very moment, and will do so forever. Never doubt what you yourself are capable of; and always, at least to a degree, use your mind to full-potential; and never forget, the path to true happiness, love, and the coming of your dreams, all rely on your time.
