I'm just going to backtrack here.. you said you didn't have the right strings/glowsticks? I just went to walmart and picked up some 45" flat shoelaces, and a few glowsticks. Then, my friend and I just started buying glowsticks from Extremeglow, or Glowproducts.
You can find A LOT of tutorials on youtube, assuming you know what the moves are called. You can also check out GSC, or Glowsticking.com. That is the absolute BEST site for glowsticking. Their forums contain tutorials for all the moves, and you can make threads asking questions about certain moves, and such! The people who respond to your thread are veteran glowstickers, new glowstickers, and even the site developers. They really give you in-depth knowledge on anything you want. People on that site are really good people.
