About me:
Hi everyone, my name is James, other known as KgZ. I am a composer and musican who has been creating music for about two years. I have been playing the piano for about 10 years now, and seldomly play other percussion instruments. The first program I ever used was MTV Music Generator, which at the time I had no clue what I was doing, nor how music technically worked. I made many songs that were undeniallably awful and earbleeding. Then half a year later I discovered a whole new program called Fruity Loops, which would become my main music composing application. These songs still weren't that great, as I had very little music theory to do anything, and I couldn't understand the program well. A year later I found a program called Reason, which is the program that I fell in love with. I use that for my compositions today, and I finally found the program that suits me the best. The music posted on this site is all made with Reason 4.0, using a few wavs from Fruity Loops, and mastering with Goldwave/Audacity. You can find me on a few site forums, and on a couple online music websites as well. My music has also been accepted into Flashflashrevolution, an online simulator of Dance Dance Revolution. You can find the game here. www.Flashflashrevolution.com

Back to KgZ old school style- upbeat with mad pianoz. Gotta love this stuff.

New Song (Wave Rip -Final-)
Posted on: April 24, 2008, at 05:58:07am   [0 comments]
Alright, for those of you who have heard my music for a long time, wave rip has been remixed, and redone, etc. But now I can finally say I am 100% proud of this song for all its worth and glory. The Wave Rip you knew long long ago is completely redone and fresh- it's hot.

The song has its usual jazzy piano (played by myself), and is (of course) very upbeat. Production wise, this is probably one of my better songs.

Lost in Mind (Finished!)

This is a nice piano jazz tune I have been working on for quite some time. After many numerous requests to finish it, I finally decided to work my ass off to get it done. I thought it turned out pretty nicely, however it might have sounded better live.

New Song, The Lion's Dance

This is fun experimental song I have been working on for the past couple of days, and it's my first time using a minor scale.

The song is a slower, upbeat song with latin and jazz elements, but with a bit of house(?). To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what genre this could be classified as.

I wanted this song to express a small little story in my mind I've had for the past couple of days. It's about a man who finds a very attractive girl that he wants to date. By doing so, he decides to try to impress her with his strong and sexy body, and finally as a result he wins the girl.

Broadjam DDR Contest 2008

I will be submitting Field of Snow as the song for the contest. I would like any sort of criticism or suggestions of any kind, even the smallest ones. I really want this to be perfect.

BTW, Blue-Violet is still my favourite song on FFR next to Blue Rose. Kudos.
