"For The Win"
I worked on this track for less time than most of my projects; about an hour and a half. It somehow still managed to become one of my favorite pieces, and I hope to elaborate on it at some point.
"Good Morning Sophia"
My most recent girlfriend was pregnant when I told her I loved her, and we tried raising that baby girl together for a while. I loved that baby more than anything in this world, and still hold both of them close to my heart. This was the first in a series of songs I made for Sophia, and I was hoping to have enough to make a CD for her at some point.
"One Winged Angel"
One of the great users of this site who has done so much good for so many beautiful nerds; how could he not deserve a song in his homage? OWA, keep on rockin' ass.
I was in a funky mood, and this popped out. Not much to say except that this was extremely fun and quick to make! I always imagine having a video game to use this in. I would, if only I had some time to be or knowledge about creating flash games.
This is a cover. I loved the original, which was more upbeat and high-energy than this, for its melody. I thought it would be fun and beautiful if I slowed it down and altered the sounds a bit.
This is from the first few days of my making music on my laptop back in 2010. It was made on Christmas Eve, when I had just discovered that cutting sounds really short and placing them close together can sound awesome and makes me shake my ass.
"The Mushrooms Are Poison"
Not much to say about this one, either. I imagine myself surrounded by purple mushrooms with facial features doing mushroom chores and keeping me as their pet. I was not on shrooms when I made this...
"Shadows On The Lake"
A song I made after my Mem passed away early on in 2011.
This was also one of my first tracks. I started off just trying to figure out some sort of structure with the piano loop. As I became more comfortable with that I chopped it up and got a little out of control by the end. Thus, I consider the piano a poisoned one that gets progressively more distorted and deranged and deadly as the song progresses.
