By system I just mean sets of conditions that must be true simultaneously. For example, when solving a set of linear equations (say x+y= 5 and x-y=1) you're solving a "system" of linear equations since both conditions need to be satisfied simultaneously. Of course the systems I'm working with are a bit more complex but the idea is the same :P

Nonono, that's not what I meant. XD I meant a mathematical system :P As in your equations, your conditions, etc

Yeah, not to brag, but it is pretty complex xD I actually showed it to one of my math professors and described how it works. He pointed it out to me the subtle error accumulation since the calculations uses a approximation technique and because of that he offered to do a research project with me next spring involving solving systems like those using more accurate approximation techniques that work even for chaotic systems :) (sorry for that mouthful, I tried my best to put it into laymen's terms xD)
Anyways, a lot of what I learned in flash was from fooling around xP But I did follow this one tutorial and it helped a lot :)

As of right now, I'm fooling around in Flash again, I've fooled around with it since high school xD I have my most recent school project in flash on my website if you want to see :)

enjoy :/
Anyways, I've been wanting to develop for android but was too lazy and discouraged from getting started (i.e. what software to use, how to test, how to get your app on the market, etc). Can you possibly link me to resources or give me tips on how to get started if you don't mind? xP

Lmfao, most people learn html before they learn Java, haha. And HTML isn't a programming language, it's a markup language. It's practically the same as bbcode on the forums (like with all your tags and stuff). My first programming language I learned was Java as well :) I'm sure you have much more to learn from it though xP
Also, just a note, you might have an idea of what makes a game fun or rewarding for ~you~ but that doesn't necessarily mean you know what makes games fun for others (only a very small fraction of people actually play rhythm games and rhythm games are missing a lot of elements that are found in other games).
Keep up the good work with the math, there's plenty more of it to come. Good thing is you only need to know the methodologies of doing things and not necessarily knowing the proof of why it's true.
Community involvement is important, you're right :P Although I do have a few things that Peppy does that ticks me off a bit that I don't particularly

Just a warning, comp sci isn't for everyone xP soooooo many people drop the major because they either join for the wrong reason or with the wrong expectations. Some people join because they're "good at computers" and they want to be "better at computers" but the major is not about computers, its more about computING. (I literally know shit when it comes to computers). Also, some people join because they like video games and they'd liketo lake their own video games or be involved in the production of them. These people quickly become discouraged when they realize the frustrations of programming and math. Instead, there is always "game design", often in major video game development, the design and implementation of the game between different sets of people. I mean someone needs to come up with the storyljne, characters, game mechanics, music, etc. and yes, i play osu, too much if anything xD

I don't really care for the food spam by itself xP But I think it's good in conjunction with certain things :) Also, I'm studying math and computer science at the moment :P

Mfw I had to look up the words in your comment :P I had a notion what they meant based off of context and past familiarties with the words but I wanted to double check xP I'm not too fond of vocabularly though, a lot of it is memorization. Sure I have whatever vocabularly I have but it's from gathered experiences as opposed to random vocabularly cramming. Vocabularly is good to have though, and I see you got quite the extensive one yourself. It'll do you good on the SAT but knowing how to use the proper vocabularly to capture the tone of writing/speech you are trying to portray is a more important real life skill :P

I thought I responded to your comment before but I guess it didn't go through xP Anyways, it's a long story about my university schooling, I've been hopping all over the place. But currently I'm going to be a junior next year in university at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
